Supernovas, two-time Women’s T20 challenge champions, started the ongoing season with a fantastic win over defending champions Trailblazers. Riding on Pooja Vastrakar’s 4/12, the team won the game by an impressive 49-run margin.
Although they lost the subsequent match against Velocity, the win in the opening fixture was enough to warrant them a place in the final.
