Pakistan resume T20I action with Bangladesh tour - watch live in India

The Pakistan cricket team take on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series starting from Friday, November 19. All the matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Dhaka.

Both teams are fresh off their T20 World Cup 2021 campaign where the Bangla Tigers had to face early elimination. Drafted in Group 1 in the Super 12s alongside England, Australia, South Africa, West Indies and Sri Lanka, Bangladesh finished at the bottom of the group with five defeats from five matches.

Pakistan, on the other hand, won all of their five group stage games before succumbing to a five-wicket defeat against eventual champions Australia in the semi-final. The Men in Green have retained 17 of the 18 players from the World Cup squad with the only change being Iftikhar Ahmed replacing Mohammad Hafeez.

As for Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal is set to miss the entire series owing to an unfortunate thumb injury. The Bangla Tigers will also be without their quality all-rounders Mohammad Saifuddin and Shakib al Hasan due to injuries that they picked up during the T20 World Cup 2021.
