The Nepal vs West Indies A T20 2024 series will start in Kirtipur on Saturday, April 27. 

Organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Nepal will host West Indies A side in a five-match T20 series. Interestingly, this will be the first-ever tour for a West Indian side in Nepal. 

As per the schedule, all five T20 matches will be played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on April 27, 28, May 1, 2, and 4.

Nepal and West Indies will aim to make use of the T20 series in order to prepare themselves for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in the West Indies and the United States in June.

Ahead of the series, the Nepal national cricket team has announced their 16-member squad to be led by captain Rohit Paudel.

Aarif Sheikh and Aakash Chand have been added to Nepal's T20 squad. The likes of Dipendra Singh Airee, Aasif Sheikh, Sundeep Jora, Kushal Malla, Lalit Rajbanshi and  Gulsan Jha are the other prominent inclusions in the squad.

On the other hand, the West Indies A cricket team will be led by all-rounder Roston Chase while Alick Athanaze has been named his deputy.

T20 World Cup contenders Fabian Allen, Johnson Charles, Mark Deyal, Andre Fletcher, Obed McCoy and Hayden Walsh have been included in the West Indies A squad.

The upcoming five-match series will present an opportunity for the West Indies cricketers, who are not featuring in the Indian T20 League, to play some competitive cricket ahead of the marquee ICC T20 tournament. 

Hosts Nepal are currently placed 16th in the ICC men’s T20I team rankings while two-time T20 World Cup winners West Indies are placed seventh.

Live streaming of the Nepal vs West Indies A T20 2024 series will be available on the FanCode app and website in India.

There will be no live telecast of the upcoming T20 series on any TV channel in India.
