Live streaming, Pakistan Women vs West Indies Women T20 2024 starts on April 26: Where to watch in India

The Pakistan Women vs West Indies Women T20 2024 series will start in Karachi on Friday, April 26. 

As per the schedule, Pakistan Women and West Indies will compete in a five-match T20 international series ahead of the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in September-October in Bangladesh.

All the Pakistan Women vs West Indies Women T20 2024 matches will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi.

West Indies are currently placed sixth in the ICC women’s T20I team rankings while Pakistan are placed below them in eighth spot.

Meanwhile, the West Indies women's cricket team will head into the T20 series high on confidence after thrashing Pakistan 3-0 in the recently-concluded three-match ODI series.

The visitors have already announced their 15-member T20I squad to be led by Hayley Matthews.

Kate Wilmott has received her maiden national call-up in West Indies’ squad for the series.

Qiana Joseph and Chedean Nation have also been recalled to the 15-member squad. 

On the other hand, the Pakistan women's national cricket team will aim to bounce back after a dismal performance in the 50-over format.

Pakistan captain Nida Dar will once again lead the 16-member squad in the upcoming T20I series.

Wicketkeeper-batter Sidra Nawaz and Ayesha Zafar have been recalled to Pakistan Women’s T20I squad.

Additionally, the likes of Gull Feroza, Rameen Shamim and Tuba Hassan have also returned to Pakistan’s T20 squad. 

West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews was the leading run-scorer in the three-match ODI series, having amassed 325 runs in three matches. For Pakistan, Bismah Maroof was the highest scorer with 91 runs in three games.

In the bowling department, Hayley Matthews and Nida Dar bagged six wickets each in the ODI series.

Pakistan Women vs West Indies Women T20 head-to-head 

West Indies Women have a dominant head-to-head record against Pakistan Women in T20 international cricket, winning 11 of the 17 matches that they have played so far. Pakistan have registered just three victories while as many as three matches have been tied.

The last time these two sides met in the T20 format, West Indies Women beat Pakistan by three runs in an ICC Women's T20 World Cup match in Paarl in February 2023.
