The Premier League 2022-23 season will kick off in the early hours of Saturday, August 6, in India as Crystal Palace host Arsenal at the Selhurst Park Stadium in London, England.
Defending champions Manchester City will start their EPL 2022-23 campaign against the David Moyes-coached West Ham at London Stadium on Sunday.
City had pipped rivals Liverpool to clinch their sixth Premier League title last season, having accumulated 93 points from 38 matches, one point ahead of the Reds.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will open their proceedings with an away match against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Under the tutelage of new manager Erik ten Hag, Manchester United will host Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. at Old Trafford on August 7.
Five-time Premier League winners Chelsea will travel to Goodison Park to face Frank Lampard’s Everton on Sunday while another London-based club, Tottenham Hotspur, will host Southampton in their opening fixture of PL 2022-23.
Since the FIFA World Cup 2022 is scheduled to be played in Qatar later this year, there will be no top-flight games for six weeks, starting from the weekend of November 12-13 until December 26. The fixtures have been adjusted to accommodate the FIFA World Cup which starts on November 21.
FIFA has already informed all teams that the players should be released on November 14 for the World Cup.
The 31st edition of the Premier League and the 124th season of top-flight England football will conclude on May 28, 2023.
