Spain (SPN) host Sweden (SWE) in their upcoming FIFA World Cup UEFA qualifier match at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville, Spain on Monday, November 15. The match will begin at 1:15 AM IST.

SPN vs SWE Dream11 prediction

Spain, who didn’t play any World Cup qualifying match due to their involvement in the UEFA Nations League, sit at the top of Group B with 16 points from seven games. La Roja needs one point from Monday’s fixture to seal automatic qualification from the FIFA World Cup 2022 UEFA qualifiers.

Sweden, meanwhile, were denied a third win on the bounce in the European qualifiers as they suffered a 0-2 defeat against Georgia. Janne Andersson's side, who have managed just one win on the road, could end up going into the playoffs should they eventually lose out to Luis Enrique’s Spain.

SPN vs SWE Dream11 team tips for FIFA World Cup 2022 UEFA qualifier

Top tip: Best striker

Raul de Tomas has been a breakout star for Espanyol in La Liga 2021, and will look to start against Sweden on Sunday. The 27-year-old, who earned his maiden call-up to the national team following the injury to Ansu Fati, has notched seven goals in the league so far and made his Spain debut in the 1-0 win over Greece earlier this week. One can also consider Sweden’s experienced forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic for this position.

Top tip: Best midfielder

RB Leipzig’s Emil Forsberg will be the major threat for Spanish defenders in the center of the park. The 30-year-old midfielder has amassed four goals in the Bundesliga this season, and is well-placed to add to his count of six goals and two assists in the European World Cup qualifiers.

Top tip: Best defender and goal-keeper

The seasoned Cesar Azpilicueta is the best possible option for a defender. Spain have managed just one clean sheet in the European qualifiers so far, and it is upto the Chelsea skipper to engineer a performance at the back whilst keeping the looming threat of a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic at bay.

Spanish keeper Unai Simon needs no introduction whatsoever. The 24-year-old, with three clean sheets in seven games in the FIFA World Cup 2022 UEFA qualifiers, is expected to be tested by Sweden’s Ibrahimovic and Forsberg but Simon, known for his heroics in the Euro 2020 campaign, is tipped to shine between the sticks.
