Crystal Palace (CRY) and Arsenal (ARS) will kick-off the Premier League 2022-23 season at Selhurst Park Stadium in London in the wee hours of Saturday, August 6 in India. The match will start at 12:30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST).

Under manager Mikel Arteta, Arsenal will aim to finish in the top four of the Premier League standings this season in order to qualify for the Champions League. The Gunners finished fifth last term with 69 points from 38 matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace finished 12th on the PL 2021-22 standings with 48 points from 38 matches. Led by Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira, the Eagles will hope to squeeze in the top eight of the standings this season.

CRY vs ARS Dream11 prediction

Arsenal head into the new Premier League season brimming with confidence, having thrashed La Liga side Sevilla 6-0 in their previous fixture to claim the Emirates Cup for the sixth time.

Additionally, the Gunners won all their five pre-season friendlies and will look to continue their impressive form against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Furthermore, Arsenal have a dominant head-to-head record against Crystal Palace in the Premier League, winning 14 of the 26 matches that they have played so far. Crystal Palace have managed just four victories while eight matches have ended in draws.

However, the last time these two sides met in the Premier League, Crystal Palace secured a 3-0 win over Arsenal at Selhurst Park earlier in April.

Patrick Vieira’s Palace side have registered five wins, two draws and suffered two defeats in their pre-season 2022-23 friendlies.

Going by recent form and past head-to-head results, Arsenal will start as favourites against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

CRY vs ARS Dream11 team tips for Premier League 2022-23

Top tip: Best forward

New summer signing Gabriel Jesus netted a stunning hat-trick for Arsenal in the Emirates Cup 2022 to help Arsenal hammer Sevilla 6-0. Having already played five seasons in the Premier League for his former club Manchester City, the Brazilian star scored 58 goals and provided 29 assists in 159 PL appearances. Jesus will be a worthy fantasy pick at 9.5 credits.

Top tip: Best midfielder

Among the midfielders, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka will be the player to watch out for. The 20-year-old has already scored 17 goals and bagged 15 assists in 97 appearances in the Premier League. Saka was the top-scorer for Arsenal last season, having netted 11 goals and will hope to open his account in the new season on Saturday. At just 9.5 credits, Saka will be a quality investment for the opening fixture of PL 2022-23 season.

Top tip: Best defender and goalkeeper

Selected by 88.05 per cent of fantasy users, Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhães is the most-picked defender for this match. Since his transfer from Ligue 1 club Lille, Magalhães has been one of the most influential players for the Gunners in the last few seasons. The Brazilian defender has helped Arsenal register 18 clean sheets and also scored seven goals so far. Magalhães will be a great fantasy pick at 9 credits.

For a goalkeeper, Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale pips Jack Butland of Crystal Palace. Ramsdale registered 12 clean sheets for Arsenal last season and will play an important role for the Gunners if they are to qualify for the Champions League next season. At just 8.5 credits, Ramsdale will be a valuable addition to any fantasy side.
