The Overwatch Champions Series 2024 North America Group Stage will start on March 8 and conclude on March 17.
Organised by Blizzard Entertainment, as many as 16 teams will compete in the Overwatch Champions Series 2024 North America Group Stage.
The top two teams from this tournament will advance to the Main Event to be held from March 21-24. A total of eight teams will battle in the Overwatch Champions Series 2024 - North America Stage 1 Main Event for a total prize pool of $75,000 USD.
The Overwatch Champions Series 2024 is a new international competitive circuit open to players across North America (NA), Europe, Middle East, and North Africa (EMEA), and Asia. The OWCS 2024 is the revamped format that will replace the Overwatch League.
Overwatch Champions Series 2024 North America Group Stage schedule and format
As per the Overwatch Champions Series 2024 North America Group Stage format, the 16 participating teams have been divided into four groups of four teams each. All matches will be in first-to-three series.
Earlier, a total of 512 teams took part in the open qualifiers. It was played in nine Swiss rounds from March 1-3. The top 16 teams advanced to the Group Stage.
Meanwhile, the Overwatch Champions Series 2024 - North America Stage 1 Main Event will see eight teams compete in a double elimination bracket. All matches will be in first-to-three except the Grand Final, which will be held in first-to-four.
