That's all from this match. Perth Scorchers get their third win of the season and move a spot up on the points table (at 7) whereas it won't be wrong to assume that it's all over for Melbourne Renegades. Wednesday brings a double-header our way with Adelaide Strikers hosting Sydney Sixers at 1510 local (0440 GMT) and later on, Melbourne Stars welcoming Sydney Thunder at 1910 local (0810 GMT). Until then, it's goodbye and cheers!

LIAM LIVINGSTONE has been awarded the MAN OF THE MATCH for his scintillating knock. He is down for an interview. Starts by saying that they have been playing some good cricket throughout the tournament but were failing to get over the line. Adds that he has been working on his game. On their next assignment against the Brisbane Heat, Liam says that they played well against them last time out and will be trying to do that again as they look to build momentum going into the business end of the league.

Melbourne Renegades thumped yet again! Their title defense remains in jeopardy. They did turn up with the bat, mainly in the last 10 overs but their bowlers let them down big time. Perth Scorchers were given a big push by their openers as they combined for a century partnership and from thereon, it was an easy chase for the visitors. There were a few hiccups in between but the required rate never went in the red zone to put pressure on the Scorchers. Richard Gleeson was the only bowler to leave a mark as others were just flat. Dropping Inglis (on 11) and Livingstone (on 49) ended up hurting them really badly.

FOUR! That's game over for Renegades. A full ball outside off, Bancroft drills it through extra cover. There's no protection in the deep and it races away to the fence. PERTH SCORCHERS WIN BY 6 WICKETS!

WIDE! Gleeson bends his back and bowls a short one on middle. However, it goes well over Bancroft and is called a wide.

1 18.5
Richard Gleeson to Ashton Agar

Back of a length ball on middle, Agar rolls his wrists and pulls it to deep square leg for a single.

1 18.4
Richard Gleeson to Cameron Bancroft

Length ball on off, played towards the point region for one.

wd 1 18.4
Richard Gleeson to Cameron Bancroft

Wide! Way outside off and Bancroft lets it go.

Ashton Agar comes in next.

W 18.3
Richard Gleeson to Tim David

OUT! CAUGHT! David walks back now with just 6 runs needed. Short of a length ball on middle, David looks to pull but finds the deep mid-wicket fielder, Beau Webster, who takes a simple catch running in. He has played a fine cameo but now has to walk back.
