Phew! That's all we have got from this thriller! Don't think any of us have got fuel left in out tank for anything more! A Super Over in the 2nd game of the tournament. It only tells you how the remaining games will pan out. On Monday, Bangalore will be taking on Hyderabad and that promises to be a thriller too with Virat Kohli getting into the thick of things after a long break and battling it out against David Warner. The action for that game will start at 1800 local (1400 GMT). Join us for that game! Until then, goodbye and take care!

Marcus Stoinis is the MAN OF THE MATCH. Says that it was a great evening of cricket. Labels it a weird game but says that he enjoyed it thoroughly. He says that it is nice that the Indian T20 League is happening and characterizes it as a high-class tournament. Believes that Ashwin's one over was a game changer for Delhi and hopes that he can recover soon.

Shreyas Iyer, the victorious Delhi skipper smiles. Says that it was a difficult match as it kept swinging to different directions. Adds that he got used to the situations like this in the last season itself. Credits Rabada and Stoinis for their performances. Says that there was some grass on the track and that made the ball move. Lauds Ashwin for the tight over that he bowled earlier on, 2 runs and 2 wickets off the same. Shreyas says that light was something of a concern but believes that the team will acclimatize over the coming days. Shreyas says that T20 games swing from one side to another and this game was a classic example of that. On Ashwin, Shreyas says that it is for the physio to take a call on his fitness and hopes that the offie would be available in the next match.

Kagiso Rabada the man who delivered in the Super Over has been caught for a little chat. He tells that there will always be nerves, no matter how long he plays. Feels he is lucky that he bowled a good Super Over. Rabada says that he was mixing the lengths up and honestly, adds that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. He was mixing up his lengths to ensure that the Punjab batsmen did not target the maximums. On his catch of Jordan earlier, Kagiso says that it was more reflexive in nature, he just stuck his hand out and the ball came in. On Ashwin, Rabada says that he has not checked on his Delhi teammate yet.

KL Rahul, Punjab's captain, says that it is a bittersweet feeling. Tells that if someone had told him that this game will go into the Super Over, after watching the first 10 overs, he would've taken it. Says that it is the first game and therefore there are a lot of positives to take. Hopes to take those and implement the same in the coming games. Lauds Mayank's performance, saying that it was great of him to bring the game so close. Adds that there was nothing to complain about the wicket. Adds further that he is willing to take the result as the captain of his side. Looks forward to the coming games.

Let's talk about the Super Over once again! Punjab came out to bat! Everyone one expected Agarwal to come out to bat. But he was probably injured! Not sure! And he didn't come out to bat. It was KL Rahul and Pooran who arrived. They were facing Rabada! The man who had delivered a brilliant Super Over in the last edition of the tournament, against Kolkata. He delivered for them once again! Just 3 balls to knock Punjab out. And with 3 needing, it was always going to be easy for Delhi.

Earlier in the game, Delhi started terribly with the bat as Shami wrecked havoc in his first spell. He took 3 in his first spell and removed Shaw and Hetmyer early on. Pant and Iyer added important runs but it was Marcus Stoinis, 'The Hulk', who smashed his way towards a superb half ton to take his team's total over 150. Apart from Shami, Bishnoi and Cottrell were superb with the ball. It was the last over where Jordan was taken to the cleaners by Stoinis that changed the game completely. And eventually, he got the ball in the last over and delivered for the team again and pushed the game to the Super Over.

Delhi were superb with the ball at the start. They didn't get the first wicket as quickly as they would've wanted but they kept things tight. And once the first wicket came, more followed. Axar Patel kept things tight in his 4 overs. With the opposition left reeling on 55/5, one would assume that the bowling team will seal the deal comfortably. However, that wasn't the case as Agarwal smashed everyone that came his way. However, Stoinis had the last laugh towards the end as he got two wickets on the last two balls to take the game into the Super Over.

What about Punjab? Well, they started really well with skipper Rahul and Agarwal starting cautiously but once Rahul departed, the others followed him in quickly. They all threw their wickets away and at one stage Punjab were 55/5. It looked like it was more or less over for them but Agarwal who saw the wickets tumble on the other end had different plans. He first combined with Gowtham for a 46-run stand and took the game deep. Towards the end, he clobbered the bowlers all around to take the team very close to victory. He hit 12 on the first 3 balls of the last over but got out on the 5th and eventually, Jordan fell on the last ball and the game went to the Super Over!

Right! After all the drama during the run chase and then the Super Over, it is Delhi who emerge as the winner! If you remember the horror start that they had, they will be mighty pleased with the result. First, they have got to thank certain Stoinis for taking them towards a good score and then delivering in the last over to force this game into the Super Over! And then, it was the Rabada show! Just three balls were needed for him to remove the two batters! 3 to win, it was easy in the end for Delhi. They have begun their campaign in style.
