The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2023 will start on August 13 and conclude on August 29.

Organised by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2023 will see two new franchises participate in the second edition of the tournament.

Mangalore Dragons and the rebranded Shivamogga Lions are the two new teams set to feature in Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2023.

Gulbarga Mystics, Bengaluru Blasters, Mysore Warriors and Hubli Tigers are the other four franchises that will compete in the upcoming Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20.

“This is the first season for us as Mangaluru Dragons and naturally we are looking forward to being part of this tournament. We already have a franchisee team in TNPL named Dindigul Dragons and are hoping to use that experience towards a successful campaign,” said Mangalore Dragons owner Mr. DV Ravi. 

The inaugural Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 featured six teams playing a total of 34 matches over 20 days.

The first leg of the tournament comprising 18 matches was played at Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Ground in Mysore, while the second leg was held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Led by captain Manish Pandey, Gulbarga Mystics were the inaugural champions of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 after defeating Bengaluru Blasters by 11 runs in the 2022 final.

Ahead of the second season, the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2023 player auction is scheduled to be held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, July 22.
