Kolkata kept their nerves intact as they win a thriller qualifier 2 match to set up a mouth-watering Indian T20 League final against Chennai.

After posting a score of 135/5 on the board, Delhi had to stare at Kolkata racing to a score of 96 in 12 overs. With 13 runs required in 24 balls, it seemed that Eoin Morgan's men would ease to a win comfortably, but no one could have foreseen six wickets fall in a flash till the equation read as six runs needed in three deliveries.

With Ravichandran Ashwin on a hat-trick, the entire Delhi camp were anxiously waiting if there would be a wicket to put a stamp as Rahul Tripathi went for a maximum. But, the ball landed safely outside the crease to break the hearts of all the Delhi players, staff and fans at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Kolkata reach the final for the first time since 2014, and will play a replay of the 2012 final against MS Dhoni's Chennai - who earlier defeated Delhi to reach the championship match of the Indian T20 League for the third time in four editions.

KOLKATA WIN! What an end to a thriller

After losing six wickets from 15.6 overs, Kolkata seemed to be on the verge of a defeat.

However, with six needed off the last two deliveries, Rahul Tripathi dispatches Ashwin's hat-trick ball for a six. What an end to a thriller of a game.

The Men in Purple and Gold kept their chasing record in UAE intact.
