Kolkata vs Rajasthan recent form

Both Kolkata and Rajasthan enter the fixture on the back of defeats in Indian T20 League 2022. While Kolkata went down in a four-wicket loss to Delhi, Rajasthan were surprisingly humbled by a Mumbai team that lost eight games in a row.

Kolkata have lost their last five games in the competition, and sit eighth on the Indian T20 League points table.

In their last outing, a determined half-century from Nitish Rana (57) helped Kolkata post a score of 146/9. In reply, Delhi chased the target with six balls to spare. David Warner was the most effective batter for the team as his 26-ball 42 helped the side hit 150/6 in 19 overs. Crucial partnerships for the sixth (29 runs off 23 balls) and seventh (37 runs off 24 balls) helped Delhi gain the early momentum and hand Kolkata their sixth defeat in nine games.

Rajasthan, meanwhile, went down to Mumbai by five wickets. Put to bat first, Sanju Samson and Co. scored 156/8 in 20 overs with Jos Buttler hitting his third fifty this term. However, his efforts were overshadowed by Suryakumar Yadav who led a struggling Mumbai to their first victory of the 2022 edition with a 39-ball 51.

Kolkata vs Rajasthan prediction for Indian T20 League 2022

Team Rajasthan are backed by the odds to register a win against Team Kolkata in match 47 of the Indian T20 League 2022.

Rajasthan’s position on the points table and recent form guide aids their chances of victory on Monday. Furthermore, their bowling unit - Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, Ravichandran Ashwin and Prasidh Krishna - has collectively taken 46 wickets and could easily pose a threat to an underperforming Kolkata batting line-up.
