The England Women vs Pakistan Women T20 2024 series will start in Birmingham on Saturday, May 11.

The upcoming three-match T20I series will provide both the sides to prepare themselves ahead of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 in Bangladesh in October.

After the opening T20I at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground, England Women and Pakistan Women will travel to Northampton to play the second T20I at the County Ground scheduled on May 17.

The third and final T20I of the series will be played at the Headingley Cricket Ground on May 19.

England are currently ranked second in ICC women’s T20I team rankings, while Pakistan are placed eighth in the rankings.

Ahead of the series, the England women's national cricket team has announced their 15-member squad to be led by Heather Knight.

Freya Kemp has returned to England’s T20I squad for the three-match series. The left-arm medium pacer last featured in the T20I series against India in December 2023.

Left-arm spinner Linsey Smith has retained her place in the squad after returning to the senior squad for the T20 series in New Zealand, which they won 4-1.

The likes of Nat Sciver-Brunt, Danielle Wyatt, Sophie Ecclestone and Alice Capsey will be available for all three matches after they missed the opening three T20I games in New Zealand due their commitment in the Women’s T20 League in India. 

On the other hand, the Pakistan women's national cricket team will look to bounce back after suffering a 1-4 T20I series defeat against West Indies at home.

Nida Dar has been named the captain of the Pakistan Women’s 17-member squad. 

Sidra Nawaz and Bismah Maroof, who recently announced her retirement are the two exclusions from the squad that played against West Indies.

England Women vs Pakistan Women T20 head-to-head 

England Women have a dominant head-to-head record against Pakistan Women in T20 international cricket, winning 14 of the 15 matches that they have played so far. On the other hand, Pakistan Women have registered just a solitary victory over England.

The last time these two sides met in the T20 format, England Women thrashed Pakistan Women by 114 runs in an ICC Women's T20 World Cup match in Cape Town in February 2023.
