The Indian cricket team travels to Manchester to take on England in the fifth and the final Test match of the series, starting from September 10 at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

The home team has made a host of changes to the squad that will travel to Manchester. Wicket-keeper Jos Buttler and off-spinner Jack Leach have been recalled while Sam Billings has been released by the team. The decisions were taken after England were beaten by the visitors in the fourth Test by 157 runs.

Chasing 368, Joe Root’s men succumbed to the bowling brilliance of India’s pace attack as they could only score 210 in the final innings.

It was a special win for India. After all, this was only their second victory at The Oval and the first in 50 years. The match also saw the likes of Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah achieving some personal milestones.

While India are looking to wrap up the series with another win, they might make a few changes in their playing XI as well. Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane hasn’t been in the best of form lately.

The 33-year-old has scored a mere 109 runs in four matches at an average of 15.57. He has registered three single-digit scores and has been dismissed for less than 20 twice.

As a result, India might recall Hanuma Vihari or even hand Suryakumar Yadav his debut for that matter. Furthermore, there are chances that Mohammed Shami might return to the playing XI.
