The Bangladesh national cricket team will lock horns with Nepal in their final Group D match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Arnos Vale, near Kingstown, St. Vincent.

The Bangladesh vs Nepal T20 World Cup 2024 match will start at 5:00 AM IST on Monday, June 17.

Having accumulated four points from three games, Bangladesh will qualify for the T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 stage if they beat Nepal in their upcoming game in the Caribbean.

The only way Najmul Hossain Shanto-led Bangladesh will fail to secure a place in the T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 if they suffer a big defeat against Nepal and the Netherlands thrash Sri Lanka by a huge margin with the fixture scheduled an hour after the Bangladesh vs Nepal T20 World Cup 2024 game.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh will head into the crucial match high on confidence after they defeated the Netherlands by 25 runs in their previous Group D fixture at the Arnos Vale Stadium on Thursday.

Earlier, Bangladesh started their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign with a thrilling two-wicket victory over Sri Lanka at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas. They later lost to South Africa by just four runs at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

On the other hand, the Nepal national cricket team will aim to quickly bounce back after succumbing to a one-run loss against South Africa in their last Group D fixture at the Arnos Vale Ground.

Chasing 116, Nepal were 85/2 before they messed up a chase to suffer a heartbreaking defeat.

Led by Rohit Paudel, Nepal lost to the Netherlands by six wickets in their opening T20 World Cup 2024 game and later their match against Sri Lanka was abandoned due to rain.

With one point from three matches, Nepal will look to end their campaign on a high with a win over Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, South Africa have already qualified for the T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 stage from Group D with four wins in four games. Apart from Nepal, Sri Lanka have also been eliminated from Group D so far.
