On the other hand, the West Indies cricket team has named a new-look 15-man Test squad for the upcoming two-match series.

Led by captain Kraigg Brathwaite, as many as seven uncapped players have been included in the West Indies Test squad.

Batter Zachary McCaskie, wicket-keeper Tevin Imlach, all-rounders Justin Greaves, Kavem Hodge and Kevin Sinclair, fast bowlers Akeem Jordan and Shamar Joseph are the seven new faces added to the squad.

Pacer Alzarri Joseph has also been appointed as the new vice-captain of the West Indies’ Test team.

Ranked eighth in the ICC men's Test rankings, West Indies are currently placed seventh in the WTC 2023-25 standings with four points.
