Season 5 of Abu Dhabi T10 League Players Draft is set to be held on October 7 with Faf du Plessis, Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy and Chris Gayle all set to be a part of the draft process.
Ahead of the Players Draft, Faf du Plessis (Bangla Tigers), Andre Russell (Deccan Gladiators), Nicholas Pooran (Maratha Arabians), Liam Livingstone (Team Abu Dhabi), Jason Roy (Delhi Bulls) and Chris Jordan (Northern Warriors) were named as the icon players for their respective franchises.
The fifth season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League will be held between November 19 and December 4 this year with a total of 1,186 players from 26 countries registered for the Players Draft - the highest in the history of the tournament.
Speaking about the power-packed icon player line-up for Season 5 of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, Mr. Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman, T10 Sports Management said, “We are absolutely thrilled to have these star players feature as the icon players in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. The full squads of each of the franchises will be confirmed following the Abu Dhabi T10 League Players Draft on October 7.
