Rajasthan vs Chennai recent form

Rajasthan need to win their final league game of Indian T20 League 2022 to confirm their place in the playoffs stage.

The Sanju Samson-led team, currently third in the Indian T20 League points table with 16 points from 13 games, are coming off a 24-run victory against Lucknow. Batting first, Rajasthan put up 178/6 with Yashasvi Jaiswal (41 off 29 balls) running riot with the bat. KL Rahul’s Lucknow, in turn, were reduced to 154/8. Deepak Hooda’s 39-ball 59 effort went in vain.

Chennai, on the flip side, are out of the running for the playoffs stage for just the second time in history and the first time since 2020.

MS Dhoni and Co. slumped to a seven-wicket defeat at the hands of Gujarat in their last outing. Chennai, who opted to bat first, hit 133/5 in 20 overs. Wriddhiman Saha’s unbeaten 57-ball 67 propelled Gujarat to chase the target (134) with a score of 137/3 in 19.1 overs.

Rajasthan vs Chennai betting tips and prediction for Indian T20 League 2022

Team Rajasthan is backed by the odds to register a win against Team Chennai in match 68 of the Indian T20 League 2022.

With a playoffs stage qualification up for grabs, Rajasthan are in a must-win situation. Sanju Samson’s men will take cue from their last head-to-head fixture to get the better of a Chennai team that has struggled for form this season.

However, considering their advantage in the head-to-head, MS Dhoni’s team could pull off an upset.
