Guyana Amazon Warriors (GUY) take on Saint Lucia Kings (SLK) in match one of The 6ixty 2022 at the Warner Park in Basseterre, St Kitts on Thursday, August 25. The game will start at 7:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).

GUY vs SLK Dream11 prediction for 6ixty 2022

Guyana Amazon Warriors and Saint Lucia Kings will square off in the season opener of the inaugural 6ixty cricket tournament.

Going by the head-to-head from their T20 clashes, GUY will start as outright favourites against SLK, having won 11 of the 18 previous meetings.

Furthermore, given the quality of hard-hitters in their ranks, Guyana are likely to adapt to the newest format of cricket and pull off a victory in a possibly narrow contest.

GUY vs SLK Dream11 team tips for 6ixty 2022

Top tip: Best batter

While new Guyana Amazon Warriors skipper Shimron Hetmyer might be the obvious favourite as the top batter, we recommend you invest in his teammate Paul Stirling. The Ireland opener is the leading run-getter in Abu Dhabi T10 League history (739 runs from 34 innings) and has accrued over 200 runs in his 100-ball League career. These numbers make him worthy of a selection in your fantasy cricket team for 9.0 credits.

Top tip: Best bowler

Alzarri Joseph is one of the few experienced campaigners in the St Lucia Kings camp, and thus, fantasy managers can draft him into their teams as the top bowler. The Windies pacer has 53 T20 wickets in his career and will hope to use that experience to help his team. At 9.0 credits, Joseph is certainly a value-for-money player who can return maximum points.

Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper

All-rounder Roston Chase is an outright pick for this position. The veteran West Indies star was the leading run-getter in CPL 2021 (446 runs) and bagged 10 wickets. Chase will captain St Lucia Kings in the 6ixty 2022, and his vast experience in the shortest format of cricket makes it a no-brainer for fantasy enthusiasts to recruit him for 9.5 credits.

Lastly, Guyana’s Shai Hope should be selected as your top wicketkeeper. The 28-year-old returned with 141 runs and three caught dismissals in Caribbean Premier League 2021 and looks poised to showcase his worth for his new franchise team. At 9.5 credits, he is a decent investment despite question marks over his strike rate in recent times.
