Ambati Rayudu vs Sandeep Sharma
Indian T20 League’s seasoned campaigner, Ambati Rayudu hasn’t really ticked this season and judging by his previous record against Punjab’s current bowling roster, the trend is most likely to continue on Sunday.
Rayudu has squared off against Sandeep Sharma in a total of nine innings in the past and has returned with a tally of 40 runs off 37 balls. During this time, the former Hyderabad seamer has dismissed the Chennai batter on three occasions.

Ruturaj Gaikwad vs Arshdeep Singh
Chennai opener Ruturaj Gaikwad has failed miserably this season, having scored a solitary run in two matches. The 25-year-old Pune-born batter will look to return to his usual best on Sunday but will have to fend off a strong challenge from Arshdeep Singh against whom he has struggled to hold his ground.
The two youngsters have played two Indian T20 League matches against each other, with the Punjab seamer dismissing Gaikwad on both occasions in a mere eight deliveries while conceding just four runs.

Shikhar Dhawan vs Ravindra Jadeja
With 59 runs already to his name in two matches, Punjab opener Shikhar Dhawan is someone to keep a keen eye on during Sunday’s fixture. The Indian batter has an excellent record against Chennai bowlers, having scored a whopping 106 runs off just 72 balls against Ravindra Jadeja and 93 runs in 64 deliveries against Dwayne Bravo.
Jadeja, in particular, has only dismissed Dhawan once in a total of 10 innings.
