Barbados Women (BR-W) will lock horns with Trinbago Knight Riders Women (TKR-W) in the Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) 2022 final at Warner Park in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis on Monday, September 5. The inaugural WCPL T20 final will start at 12:00 AM Indian Standard Time (IST) in India.

Led by captain Deandra Dottin, Trinbago Knight Riders Women stormed into the WCPL T20 2022 final after finishing at the top of the standings with three points from two matches. While TKR-W started their campaign with a thrilling win over BR-W, their match against Guyana Amazon Warriors women was abandoned due to rain.

On the other hand, Barbados Women pipped Guyana Amazon Warriors Women to secure their place in the summit clash. Needing a win in their last match after losing to TKR-W in their campaign opener, the Hayley Matthews-led BR-W beat GUY-W by four wickets to qualify for the final after finishing second in the three-team standings with two points.

BR-W vs TKR-W Dream11 prediction

Trinbago Knight Riders Women defeated Barbados Women by just one run in a nail-biting WCPL T20 2022 opener on Thursday.

Opting to bat first, TKR-W rode on opening batter Lee-Ann Kirby’s run-a-ball 30 and contributions from captain Deandra Dottin (20) and Hayley Jensen (20 not out) helped them post a respectable total of 114/7 in their allotted 20 overs.

In reply, Chloe Tyron’s 38 off 26 balls went in vain as BR-W fell short by a solitary run, having managed 113/7 in their 20 overs.

Going by their recent result, TKR-W will have an edge over BR-W heading into the WCPL T20 2022 final.

BR-W vs TKR-W for WCPL T20 2022

Top Tip: Best batter

Barbados Women’s Chloe Tryon will be the batter to watch out for in the Women's Caribbean Premier League 2022 final. The 28-year-old is currently the leading run-scorer in the T20 tournament, having scored 57 runs in two matches at an impressive strike rate of 132.55. Tryon has already accrued 91 fantasy points and will be a decent pick at 9.5 credits.

Top Tip: Best bowler

Among the bowlers, picking in-form Shakera Selman in any fantasy cricket team is a no-brainer. The right-arm pacer has picked four wickets in two matches at an average of eight and an economy of just four runs per over. Having accumulated 136 fantasy points, one must pick the Barbados Women bowler at 9 credits.

Top Tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper

As far as all-rounders are concerned, Barbados Women captain Hayley Matthews will be the overwhelming choice. The star all-rounder has scored 40 runs and also claimed two wickets in as many matches so far. She has already amassed 133 fantasy points and will be a quality investment at a steep price of 10.5 credits.

Trinbago Knight Riders’ Natasha McLean will be the preferred choice over Reneice Boyce of the Barbados Women for the wicket-keeper spot. Besides fulfilling her wicket-keeping responsibilities, Natasha McLean has scored 27 in two matches so far. The Barbados wicket-keeper will be a valuable addition to any fantasy team at just 8.5 credits.
