The Women’s Caribbean Premier League 2022 will start on Thursday, September 1, with Barbados Royals women facing Trinbago Knight Riders in the WCPL season-opener.

The inaugural edition will be played immediately after the 6ixty women 2022 - a new T10 League launched by Cricket West Indies and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

A total of four matches, including the Women’s Caribbean Premier League 2022 final, will be played entirely at Warner Park between September 1 and September 5.

The teams competing in Women’s Caribbean Premier League 2022 are Barbados Royals women, Guyana Amazon Warriors women and Trinbago Knight Riders women.

The format of the WCPL will see each team play the others once, therefore playing two matches apiece. The top two teams after the round-robin matches advance to the final on September 5.
