Both Punjab and Mumbai will look to get back to winning ways when the teams clash in the seventeenth match of the Indian T20 League 2021 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 23, Friday.

Defending champions Mumbai currently sit fourth in the points table after winning two of their opening four matches, while Team Punjab has visibly struggled for form as they lost thrice in four matches and are currently reeling at the bottom of the points table.

Team Mumbai's luck in low scoring matches finally ran out on Tuesday when they failed to defend a total of 137 against Delhi, who chased it down in 19.1 overs riding on Shikhar Dhawan's blistering form.

Punjab's poor run of form, on the other hand, led Team Hyderabad to their first win of this campaign as they chased down a paltry target of 121 runs in 18.4 overs to beat Punjab by nine wickets.

The KL Rahul-led Punjab team boasts of one of the most batting-heavy sides in the tournament, but their inconsistent form will be a huge worry against five-time champions Mumbai. Watch Punjab vs Mumbai live!

Punjab have faced Mumbai 26 times and won 12 of those games, one of which includes the famous double super-over of the last season in UAE. However, Mumbai hold the edge in head-to-head and will come to this fixture winning three of the last five encounters.
