Gujarat vs Bangalore recent form

Gujarat have been the team to beat this Indian T20 League season, having won seven of their eight matches. Thanks to an extremely balanced roster, the team has shrugged off tough challenges with relative ease, as was shown during their recent five-wicket win over Hyderabad.

Such has been Gujarat’s dominance this season that they have won each of their last four matches. During the course, they have defeated Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai and Rajasthan. Their only defeat came in their fourth league stage match against Hyderabad.

Bangalore, on the other hand, have been one of the most inconsistent teams this term. Despite sitting fifth in the league standings, they have lost their last two matches. The team has only two victories to show in their last five outings.

Gujarat vs Bangalore prediction and betting tips for Indian T20 League 2022

It’s quite easy to understand why Gujarat are the odds on favourites to beat Bangalore on Saturday. The team has been performing at a top level and with their batting order also running deep, high run chases have been relatively easy.

On the contrary, Bangalore’s batting attack, especially the top order, has been anything but brilliant. Their top three batters have aggregated a mere 551 runs this season while averaging a lowly 22.96. As a result, their average in the powerplay overs (19.38) has dipped as well.

Considering the aforementioned factors, it is safe to say Gujarat will start as favourites on Saturday.
