Yashpal Singh holds the record for most runs in Vijay Hazare Trophy. The former Services middle-order batter amassed 3193 runs in 72 matches at an impressive average of 60.24.

Between 2008-2019, Yashpal represented Manipur, Tripura and Services before plying his trade for Sikkim in the latter half of his career. The right-hander also notched up 10 hundreds, the second-most in Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Former India international Robin Uthappa with 3115 runs in 80 matches is the second leading run-getter in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Uthappa has smashed 11 centuries, the most by any player in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Karnataka swashbuckling cricketer is also the only batter to top the run-charts on two occasions (2012-13 and 2013-14) in the history of the 50-over tournament.

Tamil Nadu’s Abhinav Mukund is next on the list with 3115 runs across 63 matches. The southpaw helped Tamil Nadu lift their fifth Vijay Hazare Trophy during the 2016-17 season, the most by any team in the history of the competition.

Another Tamil Nadu batter, Dinesh Karthik is amongst the leading run-scorers in Vijay Hazare Trophy. The wicket-keeper batter has aggregated 2922 runs in 59 innings at an average of 59.44. During the 2016-17 season, Karthik scored 607 runs in nine innings, the fifth all-time highest in the history of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Maharashtra’s young batting sensation Ruturaj Gaikwad has scored 1880 runs in Vijay Hazare Trophy. In 36 matches, Gaikwad already has seven hundreds to his name.

As many as five cricketers in the leading run-getters list have represented either Karnataka or Tamil Nadu in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
