Team Delhi will look to return to winning ways when they lock horns with Team Lucknow in match 15 of the Indian T20 League 2022 season at DY Patil Stadium on Thursday, April 7. The match will start at 7:30 PM IST.

It will be the first that Delhi, a seasoned Indian T20 League campaigner, will square off against Lucknow.

Lucknow vs Delhi key player battles

KL Rahul vs Axar Patel

Lucknow captain KL Rahul did blank in his first outing against Gujarat, but the wicket-keeper batsman has gone on to score 108 runs in the next two matches.

On the other hand, Delhi spinner Axar Patel has conceded runs at will, having given away 77 runs in just two matches at an economy of 9.63. The 28-year-old might expect a turnaround in his fortune since his record against KL Rahul has been excellent.

The two have squared off in three Indian T20 League innings and the spinner has conceded just 13 runs in 14 balls while dismissing Rahul two times.

Quinton de Kock vs Mustafizur Rahman

Delhi pacer Mustafizur Rahman made a brilliant start to his Indian T20 League 2022 campaign, picking three wickets for 23 runs against Gujarat. He is rightly expected to be a big threat for Lucknow, but a certain Quinton de Knock might as well tear down his plans as the South African has enjoyed a great run of form against the pacer.

The duo have played a total of three times in the past, with de Kock managing 37 runs in just 17 deliveries at a strike rate of 217.64.

Rishabh Pant vs Krunal Pandya

With two wickets in as many matches this season, Lucknow spinner Krunal Pandya will hope to continue his rich run of form against Delhi captain Rishabh Pant. The Indian duo has played eight innings against each other, with the wicket-keeper batsman scoring 50 runs in 31 balls. That return, however, has come at a cost of three wickets.
