The Pro Kabaddi Season 10 league stage is headed towards its climax with few teams vying for the remaining playoff spot.

Bengal Warriors are one of the teams still in contention for Pro Kabaddi Season 10 Playoffs.

Under head coach BC Ramesh, Bengal Warriors won their maiden PKL title after beating Dabang Delhi K.C. 39-34 in the final in 2019.

Since then, Bengal Warriors have struggled to reach the PKL playoffs after finishing ninth and eleventh in the previous two editions of the league.

In Pro Kabaddi 2023-24 season, the Maninder Singh-led Warriors are once again in the race to qualify for the playoffs.

Having registered nine wins, two ties and suffered nine losses, the Warriors are currently placed seventh in the Pro Kabaddi points table 2023-24 with 54 points from 20 matches.

Jaipur Pink Panthers, Puneri Paltan, Dabang Delhi, Gujarat Giants and Patna Pirates have already qualified for the Pro Kabaddi Season 10 playoffs.

Meanwhile, Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan have already sealed a top-two finish and have directly qualified for the PKL 10 semi-finals.

The likes of Dabang Delhi, Gujarat Giants and Patna Pirates have secured an eliminator berth in PKL 10.

With five PKL 10 playoff spots already booked, there is only one remaining qualification spot up for grabs.

Apart from Bengal Warriors, Haryana Steelers are also in contention to claim the final PKL playoff spot.

Bengaluru Bulls, Tamil Thalaivas, U Mumba, U.P. Yoddhas and Telugu Titans have already been eliminated from PKL 10 playoffs contention. Know how Bengal Warriors can qualify for PKL 10 playoffs.

How can Bengal Warriors qualify for PKL 10 playoffs

Bengal Warriors have an outside chance to qualify for PKL 10 playoffs. Firstly, the Warriors need to win their remaining two matches against Puneri Paltan and Tamil Thalaivas by big margins.

If they manage to win both their remaining two games, the Warriors will finish the PKL 10 league phase with 64 points from 22 matches.

Furthermore, a win and a tie would see Bengal Warriors finish on 62 points from 22 league stage matches, putting them marginally ahead of the other playoff contender in Haryana Steelers.

All things considered, it must be stated that Haryana Steelers look poised to dash Bengal Warriors’ playoff even if the former PKL champions win their last two league games.

With their home leg still to come, Haryana Steelers will be overwhelming favourites as they are currently placed fifth in the Pro Kabaddi 2023-24 standings with 60 points from 18 matches.

All Haryana Steelers need to do is simply win one of their remaining four fixtures at home to knock the Warriors out of contention for the playoffs.

The only two scenarios where Bengal Warriors can qualify for the playoffs are if Haryana Steelers either lose all four of their remaining matches or lose three and tie one of their remaining.

If the above situations comes to pass and Bengal Warriors win their last two games then the Maninder Singh-led team will be through to the playoffs.

However, even one win or two ties are enough for the Steelers to qualify for the playoffs and break the Warriors’ hearts.

Two ties would be enough for the Steelers as it would put them on 66 points, two points ahead of the Warriors’ 64 should the former champions win their last two games.

Despite a difficult qualification scenario, anything is possible in the game of kabaddi and it remains to be seen which of these two sides is the final playoffs participant.
