Day 1 of the Pro Kabaddi 2021 auction saw the New Young Players (NYPs) category of players up for bids. The players featuring in this category are part of the league’s Future Kabaddi Heroes scouting programme.
The auction for Day 1 saw four players from the NYP category being picked. UP Yoddha and Telugu Titans picked a player each while Puneri Paltan signed two players.
Mohit Goyat, Govind Gurjar were signed by Puneri Paltan while all-rounder Nitin Panwar and defender Prince were picked by U.P. Yoddha and Telugu Titans respectively.

Day 1 of the Pro Kabaddi season 8 auction comes to an end. Only four players were picked in the NYP draft however do tune in tomorrow for the overseas player auction at 3 pm and domestic category players auction at 6.30 pm.
