The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 10 began on December 2 with Gujarat Giants beating Telugu Titans 38-32 in the opening match at The Arena by TransStadia in Ahmedabad.

As many as 12 teams will play a total of 132 league matches in PKL 10 across 12 cities in India. 

Apart from Gujarat Giants and Telugu Titans, Bengal Warriors, Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi K.C, Haryana Steelers, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Patna Pirates, Puneri Paltan, Tamil Thalaivas, U Mumba and U.P. Yoddhas were the other teams that are competing for the Pro Kabaddi Season 10 title.

As per the PKL Season 10 format, each team played the other 11 sides twice in a double round-robin format. 

The top six teams after all the league matches advanced to the playoffs. The top two teams in the standings automatically book their places in the PKL Season 10 semi-finals. 

The remaining four teams clashed in the eliminators. The third-placed team squared off against the sixth-placed outfit, while the fourth-placed side played the fifth-placed team in the eliminators for a place in the semi-finals.

The winners of the two semi-finals battled in the Pro Kabaddi Season 10 final held on March 1.

Some of the world's most talented defenders including the likes of Fazel Atrachali, Sombir, Saurabh Nandal, Sunil Kumar, Aman and Rinku featured in the 10th edition of Pro Kabaddi League.

Jaipur Pink Panthers’ young defender Ankush finished with the most tackle points in the 2023 edition of PKL. Ankush accumulated 89 tackle points in 24 matches to guide Jaipur Pink Panthers to their second PKL title.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Fazel Atrachali holds the record for the most tackle points in Pro Kabaddi League history. He has scored 486 tackle points in 169 matches so far.

Apart from Fazel Atrachali and Ankush, all-rounders Mohammadreza Chiyaneh and Nitin Panwar were few of the top contenders to finish with the most tackle points in the ongoing PKL season.
