The much-awaited K7 Kabaddi UP League 2024 will start on April 15 and conclude on April 23 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

The K7 Kabaddi UP League 2024 will see as many as eight teams compete for the coveted title.

Awadh Lions, BK Warriors, Gorakhpur Giants, Jhansi Fighter, Kashi Yoddhas, Noida Raiders, Prayagraj Titans and Taj Royals are the teams that will participate in the upcoming kabaddi tournament.

All matches in the K7 Kabaddi UP League 2024 will be played at the UP Yoddhas BK Kabaddi Academy in Meerut.

The K7 Kabaddi UP League will be staged across nine days. The league stage matches will be held in the first seven days of the tournament.

Each team will play the other seven sides once in a single round-robin format. The top six teams after the league matches will advance to the playoffs.

The playoffs will comprise of two eliminators, two semi-finals and the final.

The third-ranked team will square off against the sixth-ranked team in the first eliminator while the fourth-placed side will lock horns with the fifth-ranked team in the second eliminator.

The winner of the first eliminator will face the league’s table-topper in the first semi-final. 

On the other hand, the second semi-final will see the second-ranked team in the league stage face the winner of the other eliminator.

The K7 Kabaddi UP League 2024 final is scheduled to be held on April 23. 

K7 Kabaddi UP League will play a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of kabaddi stars. 

This kabaddi competition is organised to unearth young kabaddi players in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It provides a great platform to showcase their talents at a high level as well as get an opportunity to grab the attention of scouts and national selectors.

As per the eligibility criteria, all participating athletes must be aged between 18 and 22.

Ashu Malik, Parteek Dahiya, Krishan Dhull, Jaideep Dahiya and Narender Kandola are some popular names of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) who featured in the previous editions of the K7 League.

Meanwhile, Jaipur Pink Panthers’ star raider Arjun Deshwal has been named the brand ambassador of the K7 Kabaddi UP League.

The K7 Kabaddi UP League 2024 will be telecast live on DD Sports TV channel.
