The league stage of the Pro Kabaddi Season 9 is headed towards its climax, with multiple teams still in the race to qualify for the remaining two playoffs spots. Dabang Delhi are one of the franchises in the fray to make the eliminators.

Dabang Delhi were the Season 8 champions and finished runners-up in PKL Season 7. The Naveen Kumar-led franchise are once again in the race to lift the title. However, with two defeats and a tie in their last three games, Delhi are placed in a precarious situation right now.

Meanwhile, Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan have assured semi-final spots after their wins against Haryana Steelers and Patna Pirates, respectively. Bengaluru Bulls and U.P. Yoddhas have also sealed an eliminator berth in Season 9.

Tamil Thalaivas, currently on 61 points, could guarantee themselves a playoff spot with a win against the Yoddhas. Dabang Delhi currently hold the final eliminator berth, however, they could potentially be challenged by five teams below them, headlined by the Haryana Steelers.

How can Dabang Delhi qualify for playoffs in Pro Kabaddi League Season 9?

Dabang Delhi’s fate is in their own hands after Jaipur Pink Panthers' victory against Haryana Steelers. They are sixth on the Pro Kabaddi Season 9 points table with 55 points and a score difference of zero.

Wins against U Mumba and Bengal Warriors, the fellow challengers, could enable Naveen Kumar and Co. to continue their quest for back-to-back titles.

Since Naveen Kumar’s side is up against fellow playoff contenders, a defeat could prove costly. But if both their remaining matches at this stage are tied, they will have to hope that Haryana Steelers, Gujarat Giants and Patna Pirates drop points too.
