The Bangabandhu Kabaddi Cup 2024 will start on May 26 and run till June 3 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Organised by the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF), the fourth edition of the Bangabandhu Cup will see as many as 12 teams compete in a total of 33 matches in a nine-day tournament. 

These participating teams have been divided into two groups of six teams each.

Group A has Bangladesh, Nepal, Poland, Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea, whereas Group B consists of Iraq, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda and Japan.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The winners of the two semi-finals will clash in the Bangabandhu Cup 2024 final to be held on June 3.

All Bangabandhu Kabaddi Cup 2024 matches will be held at the Shaheed Suhrawardy National Indoor Stadium in Mirpur.

The Bangladesh national kabaddi team is the defending champions of the Bangabandhu Cup after beating Chinese Taipei 42-28 in the 2023 final. They are also the most successful team in the kabaddi competition, having won the previous three editions in 2021,2022 and 2023.
