The 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship 2024 for Girls will start on Sunday, March 31 and will continue till Wednesday, April 3.

The 33rd edition of the prestigious junior national kabaddi championship will be held at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna, Bihar.

Organised by the Bihar State Kabaddi Association under guidance of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI), the upcoming junior national kabaddi championship will provide a platform for budding kabaddi talents to showcase their talents.

All matches will be likely to follow a round-robin format prior to the knockout stage which will culminate with the final on April 3.

Besides encouraging women’s kabaddi in the country, the 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship 2024 for Girls will also provide invaluable experience in a competitive environment for the participants.

Not only will the upcoming four-day tournament help in the development of the participating players, it will also act as a scouting opportunity for coaches and talent scouts.

Top performances in the tournament could even lead to players’ inclusion in kabaddi academies where they can shape their future as a professional in the sport.

Meanwhile, Haryana won the 32nd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship 2024 for Girls after beating Tamil Nadu 43-27 in the final.
