J&K announces trials for Yuva Kabaddi Team ahead of Monsoon Series 2025
Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association will conduct trials from 18-21 August 2025 at Pologround Indoor Stadium to select the Yuva Kabaddi Team.

The Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association has started trials to pick the J&K Yuva Kabaddi team. Young boys will participate in a trial-cum-coaching from 18th to 21st August 2025 at Pologround Indoor Stadium, Srinagar.
Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, the associationโs General Secretary, confirmed that a selection committee will choose the teamโs probables and players during a trial-cum-coaching camp for boys:
- Mr. M.S. Baba (Vice President, NIS Coach)
- Mr. Fazal Hussain (Indian Camper)
- Mr. Ankush Chib (Indian Camper)
- Mr. Mohd. Yakoob (District Secretary, Kathua)
- Mr. Arshid Ahmed (NIS Coach).
The selection process is part of the Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Session 2025. An under-23 coaching camp at the same venue from August 24 to September 5 will train the chosen players and help them prepare for the big matches. The Yuva Kabaddi Series will occur in Srinagar from September 8 to 24, 2025.
