The seven seasons of Pro Kabaddi have witnessed some incredible individual and team performances. Many new milestones have been attained while a few have been breached in the world’s biggest kabaddi league. 

Here are some of the unique records from the history of PKL. 

Most raid points in a Pro Kabaddi match

Bengaluru Bulls’ Pawan Sehrawat, with 39 points, has scored the most raid points in a single Pro Kabaddi match. The ‘Hi-Flyer’ Pawan achieved the feat during Bengaluru Bulls’ 59-36 win over Haryana Steelers in Season 7. He required just 38 raids to achieve the milestone. 

Most tackle points in a Pro Kabaddi match

With 11 tackle points in a single Pro Kabaddi match, Manjeet Chhillar and Patna Pirates’ Neeraj Kumar top the list for most tackle points in a Pro Kabaddi match. Captaining Puneri Paltan, Manjeet broke Surender Nada’s previously held record of 10 tackle points in a match in Season 4 against Bengaluru Bulls. Two seasons later, Neeraj equalled the record against Manjeet’s former team Puneri Paltan.   

Most points by a team in a Pro Kabaddi match

Patna Pirates’ hold the unique record of twice scoring the most points (69) by a team in a single Pro Kabaddi match. The Pirates first recorded a 69-30 win over Haryana Steelers in Eliminator of Season 5 and two seasons later repeated the feat again in Season 7 against the eventual PKL champions Bengal Warriors. 

Most points in a single raid in Pro Kabaddi 

Pardeep Narwal’s eight points against Haryana Steelers in Season 5 Eliminator is till date the most points in a single raid by a raider. Coming in to raid with six defenders on the court, the ‘Dubki King’ Pardeep swept apart the entire opposition with his canny footwork and skills and inflicted an all-out to add two extra points to his kitty. Incidentally, Pardeep scored 34 raid points in the same match which is the second-most in Pro Kabaddi history after Pawan Sehrawat.  

Most points in a Pro Kabaddi season  

Pardeep Narwal tops the charts with 369 points in Season 5 of Pro Kabaddi, the most by a player in a single Pro Kabaddi. Pardeep, the costliest player in the history of the league scored 14 points on an average across the entire season that included a whopping 18 Super Raids and 19 Super 10s. 

Most raid points in a Pro Kabaddi season  

‘Dubki King’ Pardeep Narwal with 369 raid points in Season 5 holds the record for the most raid points in a single edition of PKL. Playing for Patna Pirates’ Pardeep scripted history by becoming the first player then to cross the 300-raid point mark in the history of the league. His heroics helped Patna Pirates win their third straight PKL trophy that year. 

Most tackle points in a Pro Kabaddi season  

U.P. Yoddha’s Nitesh Kumar set the all-time record by scoring 100 tackle points in Season 6 of Pro Kabaddi. In the process, Nitesh became the first player in PKL history to hit the century mark in a single edition.  

Biggest win margin in Pro Kabaddi

Bengaluru Bulls’ 40-point win over U.P. Yoddha in Season 5 is the biggest margin of win in Pro Kabaddi. Led by Rohit Kumar’s 30 raid points, the Bulls defeated their opponents 64-24 in a one-sided affair.

Longest unbeaten streak in Pro Kabaddi

U Mumba’s 11-match unbeaten run in Season 3 is the longest winning streak in Pro Kabaddi. The season saw U Mumba top the points table and make it to their third consecutive final. However, the Anup Kumar-led side missed out narrowly on their second successive title losing 31-28 to Patna Pirates in the dying moments of the match.   

Longest losing streak in Pro Kabaddi

Bengaluru Bulls hold the unwanted record of having the longest losing streak of 10 matches in Pro Kabaddi. In Season 3, Bengaluru Bulls had an underwhelming campaign finishing second from the bottom with just two wins from 14 matches.
