English Premier League giants Manchester United have been pitted against Serie A heavyweights AC Milan in the UEFA Europa League draw, which took place on Friday, February 26. Apart from them, North London side Arsenal have been drawn against Greek club Olympiacos.

Despite being handed a tricky draw against Spanish opponents Real Sociedad in the round of 32, the Red Devils had done brilliantly to kill the tie in the first leg when they won 4-0 away from home. The second leg at home remained a 0-0 draw.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Milan, on the other hand, were handed a comparatively easier draw against Crvena Zvezda of Serbia. However, the Serie giants made a mountain of a mole after managing a 2-2 draw away from home. Eventually, they survived a close tie by drawing 1-1 at home and advancing on away goals.

United had last played Milan in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 in 2010 when the Red Devils had won it 7-2 on aggregate.

Arsenal advanced into the Round of 16 in the most dramatic of fashions after managing a 1-1 away draw. Their away goal advantage was cut when Benfica scored twice and were looking to cause a major upset. However, two late goals from the Gunners ensured them a place in the next stage.

The Gunners share a tricky head-to-head with Olympiacos, against whom they have played 10 times so far, winning on five occasions and losing the same number of times. Arsenal were eliminated from UEL's round of 32 last season by Olympiacos when the Greek side had won on away goals.

Arsenal’s north London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against Dynamo Zagreb in the round of 16. Jose Mourinho’s men had an easy outing against Austrian club Wolfsberg and Spurs put the side to the sword with an 8-1 aggregate win over two legs. After winning 4-1 away from home last week, the Spurs registered a 4-0 win on Wednesday.
