The UEFA Champions League 2022-23 quarter-final second-leg encounters are slated to occur at 12:30 AM on April 19 and 20 as per Indian Standard Time (IST).
The eight teams participating in the quarters include Napoli, AC Milan, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Inter Milan, and Benfica.
Napoli will host AC Milan, while Chelsea will welcome Real Madrid for their second-leg quarter-final clash on April 19. Meanwhile, Inter Milan will cross swords with Benfica and Bayern Munich will lock horns with Manchester City at the Allianz Arena on April 20.
Napoli will look to overturn a 0-1 aggregate scoreline after losing the first leg of their quarter-final clash against Serie A rivals AC Milan.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, travels to Stamford Bridge as favourites to qualify for the semi-final with a 2-0 aggregate advantage against the Blues. Los Blancos knocked Chelsea out of last season’s UEFA Champions League and look like repeating the same in the ongoing campaign.
Inter Milan is another side who will fancy qualifying for the semis of the ongoing season as they have a 2-0 aggregate advantage against Benfica from the first leg.
Bayern Munich, on the other hand, will have their back against the wall after succumbing to a 0-3 defeat to Manchester City in the first leg of their quarter-final encounter.
Despite having home support in their favour, it seems highly unlikely that the Bavarians can overturn a 0-3 deficit against a clinical City outfit that more often than not is on the scoresheet.
