Newly crowned La Liga champions Real Madrid host Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu for their UEFA Champions League 2021-22 semi-final second leg clash in the early hours of Thursday, May 5. The match will kick off at 12:30 AM IST (Indian Standard Time).

Having won the first leg 4-3, Manchester City have the apparent advantage but head into Thursday’s fixture possibly without defenders Kyle Walker, Nathan Ake and John Stones, all of whom are doubtful.

As for Real Madrid, the likes of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic might still be sidelined.

Real Madrid vs Manchester City prediction and tips for UEFA Champions League 2021-22

Last week’s contest between the two teams was a chaotic affair and one can expect something very similar on Thursday. City, who already have a one-goal advantage, will certainly be no pushovers. They will, indeed, look to attack a Madrid defence that hasn’t kept a clean sheet since the beginning of the knock stage.

The game can sway in anyone’s favour, but given the advantage City have, they will be the odds on favourites.
