On the other hand, Arsenal beat Brentford 1-0 courtesy of Reiss Nelson’s solitary goal in their previous EFL Cup clash.

Eddie Nketiah netted an impressive hat-trick while Fábio Vieira and Takehiro Tomiyasu scored a goal each to power the Gunners to a dominant victory.
Having accumulated 24 points from 10 matches, Arsenal are placed second in the Premier League 2023-24 standings, two points behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur.
The likes of Jorginho, Fabio Vieira, Reiss Nelson and Mohamed Elneny could feature in Arsenal’s starting XI against West Ham.
The Gunners will, however, miss the services of Jurrien Timber, Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey (muscle) due to their respective injuries.
