The penultimate group stage fixtures of the UEFA Champions League 2021-22 season will see defending champions Chelsea host a confident Juventus side at Stamford Bridge in the early hours of Wednesday, November 24.
It is, however, Bayern Munich and Manchester United who will open the Matchday 5 proceedings with an away match against Dynamo Kyiv and Villarreal respectively. The struggling Manchester United team is expected to be without their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the Norwegian is reportedly on his way out following a 4-1 drubbing at hands of Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain will travel to England to take on Manchester City in what remains the most exciting match of Matchday 5. PSG, fresh off from a 3-1 win over Nantes have already defeated City once with Lionel Messi getting on the scoresheet. Despite that win though PSG are second in the Group A standings, only a point behind leaders Manchester City.
Furthermore, Liverpool host FC Porto while Atletico Madrid welcome Milan at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano. The Italian side is without a win in their last three matches across all competitions (D2, L1).
Milan could well and truly get back to winning ways as Atletico are set to miss forward Antoine Griezmann and defender Felipe Monteiro due to suspension. Meanwhile, the likes of Ajax and Real Madrid have relatively easy fixtures as they face Besiktas and Sheriff away from home respectively.
