Scotland will head into the match with confidence having beaten Spain earlier in the year. The Scots also defeated Cyprus (3-0 home and away), Norway (2-1) and Georgia (2-0) in their earlier matches to maintain a 100 percent win record in thor group.

Scott McTominay, with six goals, is the leading goal scorer for Scotland. The Manchester United midfielder scored a brace the last time the Scots faced Spain at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

On the other hand, Alvaro Morata is the leading goal scorer for Spain with three goals to his name. Alvaro Morata scored a hat-trick in Spain’s away win over Georgia in September.
