Sevilla will cross swords with AS Roma at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary on Thursday, June 1 in what is the grand finale of Europa League 2022-23. The match is slated to begin at 12:30 AM (IST).

Both teams will be eager to win the match and add some silverware to their trophy cabinet at the end of their respective campaigns. Furthermore, a win in the final will ensure automatic qualification for next season's UEFA Champions League.

SEV vs ROM Dream11 prediction for Europa League final 2022-23

Sevilla will head into this contest as slight favourites primarily because of their pedigree in the competition which has seen them win the Europa League trophy a record six times. Currently 11th in the La Liga standings, winning the final is also their best shot at European football next season.

They’ve never lost a Europa League final and overcame the likes of Manchester United and Juventus en route to the grand finale, making them marginal favourites to lift the trophy come Thursday.

AS Roma, on the other hand, will back themselves to get the better of Sevilla with Jose Mourinho in their dugout as manager. Mourinho has been a part of five European Cup finals - two Champions League, two Europa League, and one Conference League - and hasn’t lost any of them.

He knows how to win European finals and will back his team to get the job done after winning the UEFA Conference League with AS Roma last season. Roma will also have the added incentive of UEFA Champions League qualification next season with a win in the final.

SEV vs ROM Dream11 team tips for Europa League final 2022-23

Top tip: Best forward - Youssef En-Nesyri

For the forward option in your fantasy football team, going with Youssef En-Nesyri could prove to be a wise decision. The Morrocan forward netted twice against United and once against Juve to help Sevilla to the final. He also scored twice in the UEFA Champions League and seems to enjoy playing on the European stage. A physical presence who is good with his head and feet, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him on the scoresheet again in the final.

Top tip: Best midfielder - Lorenzo Pellegrini

An integral cog in the heart of Roma’s midfield, as well as their captain, Lorenzo Pellegrini's leadership and guile at the center of the park, could prove to be handy when it comes to unlocking Sevilla’s defence. Not shy of tackling either, Pellegrini is handy on both ends of the pitch and is capable of both scoring and assisting as his eight goals and nine assists this season suggests.

Top tip: Best defender - Leonardo Spinazzola

Leonardo Spinazzola’s ability to gallop up and down the left flank makes him a big threat to Sevilla's defence. Capable of holding his own against the best of attackers and known to break up play with his intelligent defending, Spinazzola, who has two goals and five assists this season, makes for prudent addition to any fantasy football team.

Top tip: Best goalkeeper - Yassine Bounou

Sevilla custodian Yassine Bounou has a history of turning up and denying opposition attackers time and again in big matches. He is likely to start in between the posts against Roma and one expects another big performance from him against Roma’s talented attackers like Paulo Dybala, El Shaaraway, and Tammy Abraham. Going with him in your fantasy team could earn you lots of points as he could make several saves while up against Roma attackers.
