Santosh Trophy 2022-23 final round - Get full schedule and watch live in India

The Santosh Trophy 2022-23 final round is all set to get underway on February 10, 2023, in Odisha, India. The penultimate group phase of the tournament will continue till February 20 before the qualified teams travel to Saudi Arabia for the knockouts and the final.

The 76th edition of the competition kicked off on December 23, 2022, with 36 teams representing states and union territories battling it out in the qualifiers to progress to the final round.

As many as 36 sides were divided into six groups consisting of six teams each. Six states, namely Delhi, Kerala, Assam, Maharashtra, Odisha and Manipur hosted the first phase of the Santosh Trophy 2022-23.

Following an exciting qualifying campaign, Delhi, Kerala, Goa, West Bengal, Meghalaya and Punjab emerged as their respective group winners to make it to the final round.

Karnataka, Manipur and Maharashtra, being the three best-performing runners-up, joined the six above-mentioned teams in the Final Round that’s slated to begin from February 10. Odisha, being the host of the final round, too made it alongside Railways and Services, making it a 12-team final round affair.

Santosh Trophy 2022-23 final round format

The 12 qualified teams are divided into two groups of six teams each.

While Group A comprises defending champions Kerala, Punjab, Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Odisha, Group B consists of West Bengal, Meghalaya, Delhi, Manipur, Services and Railways.

All the matches of the Santosh Trophy 2022-23 final round will be held at the Kalinga Stadium and Capital Football Arena in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Each team will face the other sides once within their group.

The top two teams from each group will then qualify for the knockouts, which will be staged in Saudi Arabia.
