Paris Saint Germain (PSG) host Quevilly-Rouen in the first fixture of their 2022-23 pre-season schedule at the Centre d'entraînement Ooredoo on Friday, July 15. The match will start at 8:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).

PSG’s 2022-23 pre-season sees the Ligue 1 champions take on Ligue 2 side Quevilly-Rouen before they embark on a tour of Japan on Saturday, July 16. They will play three games before returning home for the Trophee des Champions against Nantes.

Summer signing Vitinha, who arrived on a £34 million deal from Porto, is expected to make his debut for the Parisiens on Friday.

The likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar will be seen in action in new head coach Christophe Galtier’s first game in charge of the capital club.

Meanwhile, as many as nine first-team players in Mauro Icardi, Layvin Kurzawa, Julian Draxler, Ander Herrera, Georginio Wijnaldum, Éric Junior Dina Ebimbe, Rafinha, Sergio Rico and Idrissa Gueye will not feature in the pre-season fixture.

PSG’s opponents, Quevilly-Rouen, began their 2022-23 pre-season with a 1-2 loss against Le Havre.

The two sides, PSG and Quevilly-Rouen, have faced off just once across all competitions in the past. The meeting came in the semi-final of the 2009-10 Coupe de France, with Les Parisiens claiming a narrow 1-0 victory.
