Led by manager Nuno Espírito Santo, Forest have struggled in the Premier League this season.
Having registered just six wins in 26 matches, the Tricky Trees are languishing 17th in the Premier League 2023-24 standings with 24 points.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s men will also look to return to winning ways after they lost 2-4 to Aston Villa away from home in the Premier League last weekend.
With a win, United will reach the FA quarter-final for a record 48th time while Forest will advance to the last eight for the second time in the last three seasons.
Interestingly, United are one of the most successful teams in the FA Cup history, having won the title on 12 occasions. Forest have claimed the trophy twice.
