The Netherlands national football team will clash with France in a UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers encounter at the Johan Cruyff Arena, Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The Group B NED vs FRA match will start at 12:15 AM Indian Standard Time (IST) on Saturday, October 14.

France, the 2022 FIFA World Cup runner-ups, are on a five-match unbeaten run and top Group B with 15 points from five matches. Coached by Didier Deschamps, Les Bleus will face the Dutch team after beating them 4-0 in their opening encounter of the UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers back in March.

Since then, two-time World Champions France have registered wins over Ireland (1-0 and 2-0 away and home, respectively), Gibraltar (3-0) and Greece (1-0) to edge closer to sealing a spot in the continental showpiece in Germany.

The Netherlands, meanwhile, are placed second in Group B with nine points from four matches. The Ronald Koeman-managed team are tied with Greece, who also have nine points, but the Dutch team has a game in hand going into Matchday 7.

A win over France at home on Saturday will strengthen their chances of making it to the Euro Championships scheduled to be held in June and July next year.

However, Ronald Koeman will have to be content with a depleted squad following injuries to top players in the side. Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt, Atletico Madrid striker Memphis Depay and Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo have all been ruled out with injuries.

For France, captain Kylian Mbappe has scored four goals in five matches in the UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers and will be a huge threat to the Dutch team on Saturday. Meanwhile, Wout Weghorst is one of the top-scores for the Dutch team with two goals.
