Mumbai City FC (MCFC) take on Hyderabad FC (HFC) in match 10 of the Indian Super League 2021-22 season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on Saturday, November 27.

MCFC vs HFC Dream11 prediction

Despite a change in management, defending champions Mumbai City got their ISL 2021-22 campaign off to a splendid start with a 3-0 win against FC Goa and will start as outright favourites to win the upcoming fixture against Hyderabad FC.

Des Buckingham’s Islanders registered six of their 11 shots on target against Goa, out of which three went into the net. This serves as a strong indication of the attacking threat Hyderabad will have to deal with. The Nizams defensively held their ground against Chennaiyin in a 0-1 loss to the Marina Machans, but Manolo Márquez’s side will face an even more daunting task to keep Mumbai’s attackers at bay.

The Mumbai City FC vs Hyderabad FC head-to-head record is in favour of MCFC. The current holders are unbeaten in their four ISL meetings against Hyderabad FC, winning two and drawing two.

MCFC vs HFC Dream11 team tips for Indian Super League 2021-22

Top tip: Best forward

A golden boot winner last term, Igor Angulo got off the mark with two goals against former side FC Goa in Mumbai’s season opener. Angulo’s intelligent runs and effective ball control makes him an undroppable choice as the fantasy favourite forward for MCFC vs HFC, and the Spaniard will look to add to his tally of 118 fantasy points.

Top tip: Best midfielder

Edu Garcia’s playmaking ability in the midfield engine room for Hyderabad could pose a threat for Mumbai on Saturday. The Spaniard,  predominantly a left-winger, can operate as an attacking midfielder and will hope to create attacking opportunities for the Nizams by breaking his way past MCFC’s midfield pair of Ahmed Jahouh and Raynier Fernandes. Garcia has racked up 28 fantasy points so far.

Top tip: Best defender and goalkeeper

The seasoned Rahul Bheke is a smart pick for the defensive slot. The 30-year-old swapped Bengaluru for Mumbai after an underwhelming campaign in the 2020-21 season and is expected to form a strong partnership with skipper Mourtada in defence. In his ISL career, Bheke has conceded just 0.05 goals per game while providing five goals and five assists along the way.

For a goalkeeper, fantasy players should be quick to draft in MCFC’s Mohammad Nawaz. The 21-year-old custodian has leaked 1.30 goals per game and has registered 97 saves in his ISL career. Nawaz is expected to make more saves on Saturday and is also a good distributor of the ball.
