Defending champions Mumbai City FC (MCFC) open their Indian Super League 2021-22 season with a match against FC Goa (FCG) at Fatorda Stadium in Margao on Monday, November 22.

FC Goa captain Edu Bedia has been selected by 91.56 per cent of fantasy managers and there’s absolutely no harm in going with the herd. Bedia, who scored the winning goal in the Durand Cup final, has been an inspirational figure for the team and is certain to make a difference on Monday.
Top tip: Best defender and goalkeeper
While Mourtada Fall is the most picked defender for this context, we recommend you to go with left-back Mandar Rao Dessai. At 8.5 credits, the 29-year-old full-back is a steal considering his experience of playing in the ISL. While he may not be a threat in front of the goal, his tackling and deliveries from wide areas will cause some damage to the FC Goa side.
For a goalkeeper, MCFC’s Mohammad Nawaz should be picked ahead of FC Goa’s Naveen Kumar as he is likely to be tested more than his counterpart, and more saves will yield more points.
