Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City will kickstart their 2023 pre-season tour against Yokohama F Marinos on Sunday, July 23.

After claiming their third successive Premier League title and a fourth in five seasons, Manchester City will aim to have a strong pre-season as they bid to become the first team to win four consecutive Premier League crowns.

Unlike their Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United, who are touring the United States, City will be travelling to Asia for their pre-season tour 2023.

After kickstarting their pre-season tour against Yokohama F Marinos at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo, they will face German champions Bayern Munich next on Wednesday, July 26 at the same venue.

Their next pre-season match will see the Sky Blues travel to South Korea to face Atletico Madrid at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Sunday, July 30.

Manchester City are scheduled to return from Asia after their match against Atletico and face Arsenal in the Community Shield clash - England’s top-flight’s curtain-raiser for the season - at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 6.

Following their incredible treble-winning campaign last season, City have roped in midfielder Mateo Kovacic and are linked to one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe in Josko Gvardiol.

In terms of outgoings, midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has joined Barcelona, while the likes of Aymeric Laporte and Bernardo Silva have been linked with moves away from the club.
